1. Who you are contracting with

Your contract for the music, downloads and other digital content offered here is with Finn Laus Petersen. You can reach us at support@jmusicworld.com. You confirm that you are of legal age to enter into this agreement in your country, or that you have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of the organisation you represent.

2. What we provide

The site publishes original music, music videos, and related information. Some content is free to stream. Some content — such as individual song downloads — is sold as a digital product. Where you buy a download, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to keep and enjoy that file for your own personal, non-commercial listening.

3. What you must not do

You agree not to misuse the site or the music. In particular, you must not:

• use the site for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive, including spam;
• re-upload, resell, redistribute, sync to video, sample, or publicly perform purchased tracks without our written permission, or otherwise infringe our intellectual property or that of any third party;
• interfere with the security or availability of the site — no malware, probing, scanning, credential stuffing, or bulk scraping;
• circumvent any technical limit, paywall, or download restriction;
• reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the site.

4. Your account and information

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity carried out under your account. Please give accurate information and keep it up to date, particularly the email address we use to deliver your purchases.

5. Ownership of the music and the site

We retain all rights, title and interest in the recordings, compositions, artwork, videos, software, and branding on this site. Buying a download transfers no ownership and grants no licence beyond personal listening as described above. Nothing in these terms transfers any copyright, master rights, publishing rights, or trade marks to you.

6. Availability

We work to keep the site online and the files playable, but we do not guarantee that the site or any stream or download will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. Content, tracks and prices may change or be withdrawn.

7. Payments, billing and refunds

Payment, billing, currency, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are handled by our reseller Paddle and are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms. Our own refund commitment is set out in our Refund Policy.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

8. Tips and donations

Tips are voluntary contributions in support of new music and the school-building projects funded by this work. A tip is not a purchase of goods and entitles you to no product, entitlement, or equity. Tips are processed through Paddle in the same way as purchases.

9. Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

10. Liability

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We do not exclude liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the site, your breach of these terms, or your unauthorised use or redistribution of our music.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site or to purchased content where there is: a material breach of these terms, non-payment or a reversed payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Where the breach is minor and fixable we will normally contact you first. On termination, your licence to use purchased content ends if the termination results from unauthorised redistribution.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site and its products evolve. The "last updated" date above shows the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, and the courts of Denmark have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business. Neither party is liable for failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
